Day 01 : Chennai
You are greeted at Chennai international airport/railway station and check in to your hotel by noon . In the afternoon visiting Ripon building -Named after Lord Ripon, the Father of local self- government, the foundation for the magnificent building was laid by Sir Gilbert John Elliot Murray Kynyn Mound Bart and Carl of Minto, then Viceroy and Governor General of India on December 12, 1909.Fort St.George- it was built in 1639. Tipu Sultan’s cannons decorate the ramparts of the Fort Museum. And inside are relics of the founders and leaders of the fort. The National flag flutters atop a 150-feet Flagpole – the tallest in the country. Raised in 1687, this pole was till 1994, made completely in teak. Its replacement now, is in metal.ValluvarKottam- Opened in 1976 in memory of the poet-saint Thiruvalluvar, Valluvar Kottam is a massive auditorium, constructed on reclaimed land from an unused lake filled with the city’s garbage and debris. The auditorium can seat up to 4000 peopleThere is a 101-feet high temple chariot structure with a life-size image of the poet in it. The base of the chariot shows in bas-relief the 133 chapters of the Thirukkural.Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 02 Chennai – Vellore – Tirupati
Morning after breakfast proceeds to Vellur on the way visiting Golden temple ,then proceeds to Tirupathi Sri Venkateswara Temple, the ancient and sacred temple located on the seventh peak, called Venkatachala of the Tirupathi Hill, and lies on the Southern banks of Sri Swami Push Karin River. On arrival check in to the hotel –if possible you have nice Dharsan on same day or next day. Over night stay at Tirupathi.
Day 03 Tirupati – Mahabalipuram
Early morning transfer to Tirumalai for darshan afterward drive to Mahabalipuram to visit Arjuna Penance and shore temple and then check in at Hotel. Stay overnight.
Day 04 Mahabalipuram – Pondichery
Morning drive to Pondichery. PONDICHERRY – Although the French influence is gradually fading, Pondicherry retains a few Gallic accents. Pondicherry’s main sights are the Raj Nivas, the Sacred Heart Church and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.
Day 05 Pondichery – Thanjavur
Morning check out from the hotel and proceed to Tanjavur . Upon arrival check in at hotel The famous world Heritage monument one of the most famous land Marks of Tanjore is the Bragatheeswarar Temple, a built in at the beginning of the 12th century by the greatest Chola emperor Raja Raja Chola King. With its lush green stretches of cultivated lands. The tower of the temple is an engineering marvel of the construction was made in such a way that the shadow of the Cupola never falls on the ground. Day 06 Thanjavur – Trichy
Morning after breakfast proceeds to Trichy , Check in to your hotel by noon . In the afternoon visiting Rock Fort Temple. The Rock Fort situated on the banks of the Kaveri river, Trichy’s most famed land mark is an 84 m high rock, one of the oldest in the world aprox.3,800 million years. The attraction is not for fort itself but the temple at the summit. 344 steps hewn out of rock lead to the top where are the inscriptions dating back to the 3rd century B.C. and also visiting Jammbukeswara temple ,Mariamman Temple,Sri Ragna Swami Temple etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07 Trichy – Madurai
After breakfast proceed to Madurai (which is known as the Nectar city of Tamilnadu, is the oldest city in Tamilnadu. Afternoon drive to local city sightseeing of Madurai covering Meenakshi Amman Temple and Thiruparakundram Murugan Temple. The Meenakshi Amman Temple dominates the city evolved around it. The temple is mainly dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi and also to Lord Shiva (as Sundhareswarar). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 Madurai to Rameshwaram– (157kms)
Morning proceed to Rameshwaram, Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Kothandaraswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi & Adam’s Bridge. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.
Day09 Rameshwaram – Madurai
Morning check out from the hotel and drive to Madurai En route visit Alagar koil and Pazhamudir sholai. Evening light and show at Thirumalai naykar Palace.
Day 10 Madurai – Kanyakumari
Morning after breakfast proceeds for sightseeing, visiting Kumari Amman Temple-Kumari Amman Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati as Devi Kanya (the Virgin Goddess) is an important shrine here., Temple Of Goddess Bhagavathi-Goddess Bhagavathi Temple in Kanyakumari is picturesquely located at the confluence of the three oceans – the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. Originally built by Pandyas, it was expanded later by Nayaks., Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial-The memorial was erected to commemorate the evening of December 25, 1892, when Swami Vivekananda visited Kanyakumari as a pilgrim and swam to the rock in the sea and spent the whole night there in deep meditation, Gandhi Mandapam-It enshrines the spot where the urn containing the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi was kept for public view before immersing its contents in the three seas.
Day 11 – Kanyakumari – Trivandrum
Early morning view sunrise and proceed to Trivandrum. En route visit Sucheendram temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace. Upon arrival drop at Railway station /Airport for your onward return journey.
Day 01 Morning Arrive at Trivandrum Airport and drive to Hotel after fresh up go for sightseeing Padmanabha swamy temple, Zoo, Museum etc and come back to Hotel evening go the fames kovalam beach and overnight at hotel
Day 02 Kovalam To Kanyakumari 95 Kms.
After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari enrOute visit Padmanabhapuram palace then proceed to Kanyakumari Visit Vivekanandha Rock, Temple etc . Evening you can see sunset and overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 Kanyakumari To Rameswaram
